EU AI Monitor is a Chrome extension that helps users review webpages for common EU AI Act Article 50 transparency signals and generate implementation evidence.

Information the extension accesses

When you intentionally start a scan, the extension temporarily accesses the active webpage. This may include visible text, HTML elements, the page title, the current URL, and related page metadata needed to perform the scan and generate a report.

How information is processed

Webpage analysis is performed locally in your browser. EU AI Monitor does not send webpage content, page URLs, scan results, questionnaire answers, disclosure snippets, or evidence reports to the developer or to a third-party server.

Local storage

The extension may save questionnaire answers, generated disclosure snippets, and user preferences locally using Chrome storage. This information remains on your device unless you remove the extension data or uninstall the extension.

Downloads

Evidence reports are generated locally and downloaded to your device only when you choose to export them.

Information not collected

• No user accounts
• No passwords
• No payment information
• No advertising identifiers
• No analytics data
• No sale or sharing of user data

Remote code

The extension does not execute remotely hosted JavaScript. All executable code is packaged with the Chrome extension.

Third parties

EU AI Monitor does not sell, rent, license, or transfer user data to third parties.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as the extension changes. The current version will remain available at this URL.
